Gyana Guruji Khatti Chaat


White Peas, potatoes, tomato, ginger, green chilli, panch phootan (5 dry spices), refined cooking oil, turmeric/chilli/jeera (cumin) powders, everest chhole masala, coriander leaves, onion, carrot, cucumber, beet, paapdis & sev (snacks), curd vada, tomato sauce, tamarind chuttney, chaat masala, black salt

How to make

Base preparation

Boil white peas and potato. Make a paste out of tomato, ginger and green chilli. Mount a vessel on to the gas stove and put refined oil in it. Put panch phootan on to it. Once it sputters put the preciously prepared paste and saute it a bit for 2 minutes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, jira powder and Everest chhole masaala and saute the ingredients for 4 to 5 minutes in lower gas flame. Then put the white peas and boiled potatoes into the container. Mix it and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes in lowerflame. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Now the base of the Gyan Guruji Chaat is ready

Chaat Preparation

Put two scoops of the base prepared above on a serving plate. Top it with sliced raw onion, grated carrot, sliced cucumber, grated beet root. On top of this layer put crushed paapdis, sev. On top of it put curd vadaa, tomato sauce, tamarind chatni and coriander leaves. On the top most layer, Put chaat masaala, black salt and li’l bit of chilli powder. Gyana guruji ki Khatti chaat, ready to be served
